Watermelon Pouch!

Hi everyone! Long time no post! I know I said I would try to post more often, but I have been really busy this summer with traveling and other summer activities. However, I have found more time to crochet these days, so hopefully, there will be more posts. :)

For my friend's upcoming birthday, I wanted to make her a pouch. So using this pattern by Sarah of RepeatCrafterMe, I began making her watermelon coin purse.

In the original pattern, Sarah recommends using a sharp crochet hook to directly insert the hook into the zipper to begin the pouch, but I just used my regular 2.20mm crochet hook to pierce through my zipper, and it worked just fine. This watermelon pouch pattern is super quick and easy!

The materials I used were:

  • Green zipper
  • Green, Pink,White yarn
  • Black beads
  • 2.20mm crochet hook

To begin the pouch, I used green yarn and a green zipper

Then I changed to white yarn, then to pink yarn!

Almost done!

Once I finished the pouch, I sewed on little black beads to replicate the black watermelon seeds!

Tada! All done!

I hope you guys enjoyed this short post! Until my next post, happy crocheting and crafting!

Anna
